Inside, the home offers warm wood details, hardwood floors, a comfortable living area, and a gas fireplace perfect for cool mountain evenings. The full kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals at home, while Wi-Fi, streaming entertainment, a washer and dryer, and portable A/C units vented through the walls provide added comfort throughout your stay.
Outside is where Tranquility House really shines. Spend your evenings soaking in the private hot tub, gather around the outdoor firepit, or fire up the gas grill for dinner. Guests can also explore approximately 20 acres of walking trails throughout the property, including wooded areas and beautiful rhododendron.

Note:
Here, we have a great amount of snowfall from November through April. You must be prepared with 4-wheel drive, studded snow tires or chains. Chains can be purchased in the area in the event of a snowstorm during your vacation.
Renters are expected to provide toilet paper, paper towels, soaps/detergents, trash bags, baggies/foil/saran wrap, fire wood, etc. We provide: linens (1 set of sheets per bed, blankets, pillows), 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per person based on occupancy of the property, a kitchen set of 1 dish cloth and 1 dish towel, 1 dishwasher tab, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 small bar soap per bathroom and one roll of paper towels.
